Jeffrey D. Shaffer

I am an Associate Professor of English at Shizuoka University, Japan. I edit high school English textbooks with Tokyo Shoseki and Japanese-English dictionaries with Taishukan as well. I love good stories (especially Lord of the Rings), occasionally edit and co-write novels with my friend Andrew, and more recently I'm learning to program in C, C++, and Python, mostly by creating games.

• WX Display Webpage -- A simple webpage that displays the local weather conditions and radar.
• Motion Recorder -- A simple python3 program that uses OpenCV to record videos when the webcam sees motion.
• Time Lapse Webcam -- A simple program that uses OpenCV to take timelapse pictures via webcam, written in Python3.
